Power of Color

Grade 6

In this unit, students explored the power behind color in artwork. Students explored how color is a tool that artist use to evoke emotions and tell a story. Students created their own collection of personal painted papers and then assembled a colorful quilt that expressed a story about who they are, their families, traditions and personal surroundings.
